Perfectly Cooked Pasta

The key to a successful pasta bake lies in the pasta itself.

Choosing the right type and cooking it just right ensures the dish holds up well when baked.

Opt for shapes like penne or rotini, which capture the creamy sauce beautifully.

Cook the pasta until it’s al dente, so it doesn’t turn mushy during baking.

Succulent Chicken Pieces

Tender, juicy chicken is the heart of this dish. Whether you use shredded rotisserie chicken or freshly cooked pieces, ensure they are well-seasoned to enhance the overall flavor of the bake.

Rich and Creamy Sauce

The sauce is what ties everything together in this Chicken Pasta Bake.

Using heavy cream creates a luscious base that adds depth and richness to the dish.

Cheesy Topping

No pasta bake is complete without a generous layer of melted cheese.

Sprinkling cheddar and Parmesan on top creates a golden, bubbly crust that is irresistible.

Recipe Notes:

test test Chicken thighs hold up best in pasta bakes as they stay juicy through the double/triple cook. However, breast will also work though I’d cut it a little larger so it stays juicier.
